Who is Melody?

With a strong combination of dynamic emotion and fierce composition, L Melody Holcomb brings stories to life through music and sound design. Her musical style encapsulates a unique blend of electronic, orchestral, and vocal textures that capture a listener’s attention and guides them through a vast field of emotive and adventurous experiences.

Melody started her musical journey as a vocalist at Boise State University, and quickly realized her aptitude for music production and technology. Working as both a composer and audio engineer, she has contributed to the success of many projects across several mediums. From commercials and games to art exhibitions and the concert hall, Melody has a firm grasp on a wide variety of styles and a sound that can win over any audience. She has produced three album's-worth of media music since 2020, and even more for the concert hall.

As a transgender woman, Melody aims for her music to be a beacon of hope for the queer community and those who are disenfranchised. She takes a life-affirming approach with everything she does, and will always rise to the challenges of today's divisive world.
